The secret behind Prince Louis’ absence from major events turns out to be Princess Kate’s plan
|The absence of Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and his wife, at recent important events has made the public curious. According to experts, this is part of Princess Kate’s plan to introduce her three children to the public.
Recently, Prince George (10 years old) and Princess Charlotte (9 years old) accompanied their parents to major sporting events. Specifically, Prince George and his father, Prince William, attended the Euro 2024 final on July 14, while Princess Charlotte and her mother, Princess Kate, attended the Wimbledon final on the same day.
However, Prince Louis did not attend either event. His last official appearance was at the King’s Birthday Parade in 2024. According to experts, Louis’ absence shows that Prince William and his wife are careful in choosing events that are appropriate for each child’s age. Sharing on True Royalty TV’s The Royal program, Lizzie Robinson – a producer of royal news for ITV News – said: ” They (the Prince and Princess of Wales) are very careful in choosing the right events to bring the children to. The fact that Prince Louis did not attend shows that they are considering what is best for each child at each time. It will be Louis’ time.”
Previously, Prince Louis was the center of public attention when he attended the King’s birthday parade on June 15. During this event, the boy had many funny expressions and actions such as dancing to the music of the Scots Guards, yawning, playing with the window curtain strings, etc. The adorable image of the little prince “captured the hearts” of many royal fans.
At the beginning of the event, Prince Louis, his mother and two siblings traveled by Glass State Coach along the Mall. Earlier, while waiting on the steps of Buckingham Palace, he accidentally slipped and fell. Afterwards, Prince Louis happily waved to the crowd on the way to Horse Guards Parade. While sitting in the carriage, he continued to make many funny expressions that made his mother and siblings laugh with delight.
The Trooping the Colour parade was also Kate’s first official event this year after announcing her cancer treatment. Her appearance received a warm welcome from the public.
Princess Charlotte’s attendance at the Wimbledon final was Kate’s second public appearance this year. The mother and daughter were joined by Kate’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, to watch the match. As they entered the royal box, the trio were greeted with a standing ovation. Princess Charlotte looked at her mother with pride.
Matt Wilkinson, royal editor of The Sun, said: “The way Charlotte looks up at her mother, she knows what Catherine has been through over the last six or seven months. She has seen her mother in the good times and the bad. To be able to sit next to her mother, see the admiration she receives and have a day out is a bonus, a wonderful thing for Charlotte.”
Ahead of her first public appearance at this year’s Trooping the Colour parade, Kate spoke about her health: “I’m recovering well, but as anyone who has gone through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On bad days, you feel weak and tired and you have to rest your body. But on good days, when you feel better, you want to make the most of that feeling of well-being.”
