PRINCESS DIANA’S RARE CHILDHOOD PHOTO SHOWS HER UNCANNY RESEMBLANCE TO GRANDDAUGHTER PRINCESS CHARLOTTE

Charles Earl Spencer recently shared a nostalgic throwback photo, showcasing the striking resemblance between Princess Diana as a child and her granddaughter, Princess Charlotte. Besides their looks, Charlotte has been carrying her late grandmother’s legacy since birth.

On Instagram, Earl Spencer posted a captivating snapshot from 1967, featuring himself on the left, a young Diana on the right, and their mother watching over them lovingly from behind, all enjoying a moment in an outdoor playground.

Earl fondly recalled, “My mother, Diana, and I, in c. 1967. I would have been 3, and Diana 5 or 6. I love how happy each of us looks. At this stage of my life, my mother nicknamed me ‘Buzz’ – because she saw me as having the endless energy of a rather happy – and busy – bee.”

The uncanny resemblance between Diana as a child and Princess Charlotte has not escaped notice. Earl’s post sparked a flurry of comments on Instagram, with many highlighting the remarkable similarity between the two.

Princess Charlotte is the spitting image of Lady Diana. The memory of your wonderful sister lives on,” one user commented, while others echoed, “You can really see Princess Charlotte in Diana in this photo!!” “Wow, I see Princess Charlotte in her grandmother here [sic],” and “Diana looks just like Charlotte. Great memory!
