Lady Louise makes poignant return to the horse show where she made her grandmother so proud
|Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor has continued a cherished family tradition by attending the Royal Windsor Horse Show alongside her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh.
It was at the same show in 2022 where she participated in a carriage riding competition, with her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, radiating with pride as she observed from the Royal Box.
This year, the 20-year-old royal wasn’t competing in the event. Instead, she was diligently assisting the event organizers.
Ranked 16th in line to the throne, Lady Louise wore a high-visibility jacket, adorned with a badge designating her as an ‘official’.
The Royal Windsor Horse Show holds a special place in Lady Louise’s heart.
The young royal acquired carriage driving skills from her grandfather, Prince Philip, and previously competed at the show during the late monarch’s Platinum Jubilee year.
